I've given lots of tips from dieting to fashion and shopping and beauty products. There's something I haven't told you about—a tip my Lola taught me since I was little: a Rosary in my pocket.
I'm one of those people who believe a Rosary will keep you out of danger and now I think is a very good time to keep one close by—in this day and age of bombings and horrible car accidents.
I especially need one during plane rides and trips abroad.

Another thing to remember is to pray to one's guardian angel. One must be very careful crossing the street, especially in foreign countries.
I've had close calls walking in Hong Kong. One really must obey traffic lights even when there are no cars in sight. You don't really want to end up in a hospital while traveling.

My favorite rosary was given to me by one of the ladies in my sewing circle. Tita Nita got it in Poland. It's a Divine Mercy chaplet/rosary. I'm afraid to lose it and I panic everytime I can't locate it because I don't know if I will ever set foot in Poland and get a replacement.

It's also a good idea to sleep holding a rosary, whether at home or confined in a hospital. Both times I gave birth with a Rosary entwined on my arm.

P.S. A scapular wouldn't hurt either.
