Last night I stayed up late looking at beds for our studio.
Did you know designer beds can cost like a designer bag?
Prices are not so bad. But after looking at 1,000 beds, I kind of narrowed it down to two choices:

1) Philippe Starck's Neoz bed

2) Paola Navone's Ghost bed

So gorgeous!! I know, they look like cousins. I'm in love with Paola Navone's stuff, especially her Ghost furniture

This is her Pongo sofabed, I want for our studio.

Some other beds I found.
This Vento couch turns into two beds.

This Maly bed is practically a studio on its own

A nice daybed to fall asleep on

Nice lazy bed for turbo blogging

Cozy-looking bed, and I like the shoe compartments underneath.

So what you think?

reminder lang poe:
feng-shui insists that the area under one's bed should be storage and clutter-free,otherwise there will be troubled sleep.

hehe same tayo! but right now we are planning to change the foam that we got from designs ligna. any suggestions what brand of foam to buy?

I love the vento and maly beds. sosyal na sosyal. the vento is a really ingenious space saver, and looks like the sofa will only take seconds to transform into a bed. if i were still a single yuppie (which i was eons ago), i would probably love to have that in my condo.

i like the one with shoe compartments. number 1 & 2 are nice pero for some reason i think of hospital beds.

I'm so attracted to the 'turbo-blogging' bed! It makes me want to repaint my room, have a bed custom-made to resemble that piece, and scour the shops for cute sheets.

The Neoz and Ghost beds do look very nice, however I personally wouldn't want to pay ~$5,000 for a bed whose highly minimalist design makes it extremely easy to duplicate using cheap components from Target and West Elm. But that's just me. :-)
