I used to have a Facebook, but it wasn't for me either.

Marc said, "None of my Facebook pages are real, all are fake. I used to have MySpace but I took it down.” (On The Radar)
I went on Twitter because not too long ago, I was given a Nokia E63 to review with an angle on its blogging features. Since I can't make a blog entry using the phone, the logical thing was to try Twitter, where you express your thoughts in 140 characters or less.
I thought Twitter was the next big thing because it was on the cover of Time. But it really isn't for me.
I think it works better for people who have the Twitter app on their iPhones.

The Nokia E63, however, is lovely.
In my review I noted its lightweight body, the fact that I can put a string on it and hang it around my neck so I don't lose it.

It takes pictures and video, stores music and all that. Since I don't read manuals I have yet to discover its other features.
I love the magical sound it makes when I get a text message, and I find it amusing that it can speak out the name of the caller and the message too.
You can go online, surf or check your email by wifi, MyGlobe, or whatever service provider you're using, though loading can be slow.
I especially love the QWERTY keyboard.

The QWERTY feature allows me—formerly a predictive texter—to shift from Tagalog to English, no problem.
The E63 is Nokia's answer to Blackberry without the price tag. And at Php 14,200, you can't go wrong.

since am also using globe's visibility as my data plan, i no longer need to bring my laptop around just to check emails and follow-up on clients. all my schedules, contacts are there and sync-up perfectly with ical, addressbook on my mac.
and if i do have my laptop, i can hook up the e71 as a modem for surfing as well.
perfect phone for me now.
until e72 :P

the internet function is fairly easy to use.. you should get the settings from globe/smart/sun etc and then setup your email client (yahoo/gmail etc) according to their settings (check their websites)
Love the E63, too!

As for twitter, it's good site for marketing, specially if you a new site and have like millions of followers, chances are when you tweet something a follower will click it. It's not for me too, I love blogging, that's my platform and nothing else, but hey I tweeted when I started following you. LOL

I LOVE MY NOKIA E63.
2009-07-15 02:38 am (UTC)
First of all, i'm so glad you did this post because I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Nokia E63, which does everything the E71 does, but is much cheaper. Like okay the E71 has 3.5mxp whereas E63 has 2mxp camera. E71 has GPS but E63 doesnt. The camera in the E63 works way just fine for me. And the GPS is unecessary if you download the new Google for Nokia app which includes Google Maps which is way accurate and uses data received from control towers.
Additionally, I dont blog on my phone, but I have the free "TWIBBLE" application on as a shortcut on my main desktop page. "TWIBBLE" allows you to do quick and easy tweets including do tweets with picture attachments using TWITPIC. I also have a link to M.Facebook.com on my Desktop. As well as the free "FRING" app, which allows you to call or chat with all your contacts on GTALK, MSN, YAHOO MESSENGER, and SKYPE. The best part about the E63 is the Seemless Webbrowsing. I'm on an unlimited internet plan with 100 mb download a day through HK's Smartone-Vodafone. OH! And I now get push email, by downloading the free App from email.nokia.com. It's Nokia's Push email service free with any webmail or Microsoft Exchange service. And can hold more than one account.
WHEW!
No Nokia didnt pay me or give me a free phone to post this comment. I JUST ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY NOKIA E63 and laugh at others who dont have it... or have the other lame ass phone... iPhone which totally sucks.
Anyway thats all!
For reference check out my tweet page--

I use my nokia phone to tweet and take pictures for my Twitter.
xoxo JJ

BTW watch out for the new Nokia Maps version that kicks Google's a** in the next few months :) no need to download the Google app when Nokia Maps is already pre-installed in the phone.
Nokia Messaging can hold more than 10 email accts (work & personal) btw.

and amazing. menu>tools>switch>retrieve makes you"grab" your contacts, photos, calendar events, etc from your old nokia phone via bluetooth. it took me what, 5mins?, to get all my junk out of the old phone(6300), which crashed because it couldnt hold all my junk (as a friend would put it). i made sure i got from nokia's business series this time :)
