Right now I'm in love with this hotel.
Last night I was going nuts because of the smell in the toilet. Jeroen said the smell seemed to come from the drainage hole in the floor. So I called housekeeping who sprayed it like a fumigation. The smell was so thick, I had to cover my nose with a T-shirt. Jeroen told me to leave the door open to let the air out.

I took a sleeping pill because I was afraid of getting up at night to use the toilet. It other words, I turned phobic.
This morning, as I was getting ready to shower, I turned on the water from outside the stall to start warming the water. I was not aware that the freaking shower head was turned towards my face, so when I turned it on, this really strong splash of water hit me and drenched my entire makeup kit on the sink (read: small bathroom).
I was so frustrated I wanted to cry. I asked Jeroen to kindly wipe all my makeup while I showered, which he did. I'm so grateful.

At that moment I decided to move out of the room. I didn't want to leave Singapore with this disgusting feeling. After getting dressed I rang the manager to ask for an upgrade. It really helps that most of the staff here are Filipinos. The manager, Gio, came from Sofitel.
For an extra fee, we moved into the Luxury Suite. So here we are in seriously one of the best rooms I've ever stayed in. My camera cannot capture the beauty of this room.
It's dark, modern and moody. I feel like not leaving the room, but we have stuff to do.
Jeroen is taking a nap while I'm typing this on bed.

There's a kitchenette, tons of closets, two flat-screen TVs, ironing room (unbelievable), stand-up refrigerator and more.
Now I'm gonna run out to the Raffles Hotel next door and look at the shops before our meeting at 6.
Tomorrow we head home.
